10 months and counting
TO date..
I have actually done quite a bit. I found a dress (and contacted the person), a cloak (deposit on it), have done LOTS of things for the reception (got to try to figure out how to post photos). my theme is nautical and the ocean.. So, I bought lots of wood stuff from Casey's wood products, bought some jute, glue, paint, and am having fun making my own favors, plus I am buying lots too.. Since crafting is a HUGE part of my life, I am incorporating that love into my handfasting.. and everything (well almost) is made IN maine or of course by myself (and friends/family).
I will add the crafts to a crafty post as well as links to the other stuff I am getting.

he FINALLY popped the question!
well the planning started in July... he finally asked the question after 7 long years of being together...
we met online on mate1.com, I kept finding this ad in my email even though I sent the link to my SPAM folder, so I took a chance. He messaged me when I was still filling out the profile. well we talked for awhile just on the site, moved to email, then he called me and we talked about nothing for 2 hrs. then after about 2 weeks he said .... Do you want to meet? .... Yes we met at a public place, as one should do meeting a stranger ... ALWAYS ... well, he was where I lived or I was on the island. it was like we were joined at the hip. So here we are 7 years later.. and we are getting married. This is a blog to show all the work all by myself as done. the only help is a slew of friends and the only blood family member coming to the HANDFASTING in brooklin Maine at the Lookout in on flye point.
